The challenge

What was wrong before.

Recruitment agencies serve two audiences on one website: companies who want to hire, and candidates who want a job. Most agency sites do one badly and ignore the other.

Talentflow needed both routes handled properly, plus somewhere for the team to actually manage what came through instead of it landing in a shared inbox.

What I built

The actual solution.

Split-path homepage

Employers and candidates are separated from the hero onwards. Start Hiring is the primary action, with a clear secondary route for job seekers.

Floating pill navigation over full-bleed hero imagery, so the interface stays light and the photography does the emotional work.

Live job board

Built on CMS, filterable by sector, location and contract type. Applications captured with secure CV upload straight into the pipeline.

Custom dashboard backend

The team posts and edits vacancies, reviews applications and moves candidates through stages without opening the design tool.

Role-based access for internal users, automated notifications on new applications and employer enquiries.

Two-way CRM integration

Every employer enquiry and candidate application lands in the pipeline automatically, assigned to an owner, with follow-up sequences already running.

Blog and FAQ

For organic visibility and to answer the questions that slow down a hiring decision.

The approach

Decisions, not just features.

Two audiences, one interface

The information architecture keeps employer and candidate journeys clearly separated but built on the same design system, so the site never feels like two half-sites bolted together.

Data handled properly

GDPR-compliant candidate data with a documented retention policy. Secure file upload and storage for CVs. Role-based access on the dashboard.

The tool the team actually uses

The dashboard is where the daily work happens. Posting a vacancy, moving a candidate, replying to an employer, all in one place instead of five tabs.

Measurement

GA4 and Search Console with conversion events on both employer enquiry and candidate application, so the two audiences can be reported on separately.

The outcome

What changed for the business.

  • Applications per vacancy up around 68% versus the old inbox-driven process
  • Admin time on vacancy posting and application handling down by roughly 54%
  • Employer enquiries per month up around 49%
  • Qualified candidate pipeline up around 61%
What this demonstrates

A production website plus a real internal tool. The public site converts, and the dashboard behind it removes the manual work that usually eats an agency's week.
